About SiW
Growing With Families. Growing With Spanish.
Growing Bilingual Leaders for Life.

Our Story
Founded in 2005 by Karina Giménez, Spanish Immersion Workshop grew from years of experience teaching English to young children in Buenos Aires and later in the United States, teaching Spanish through immersion-based programs.
Seeing the impact that immersion could have on early language learning, Karina created SiW as a warm, supportive place where children could build confidence in Spanish and develop a real connection with the language.
More than 20 years later, that purpose still guides everything we do: helping children grow with Spanish while supporting families as they raise bilingual or multilingual learners.

The SiW Immersion Method
No Translation
English is never used during instruction. Children build meaning from context, gesture, and repetition — the way they learned their first language.
Routine & Music
The same songs, greetings, and transitions every session give children an anchor. Within weeks, familiar phrases start coming out on their own.
Play Is the Lesson
Art, cooking, science, yoga, and games are the vehicle. Spanish is the medium children move through, never the subject on a worksheet.
What We Stand For
Speak, Don't Study
Children leave our classrooms speaking Spanish, not reciting it. Everything we do is built around real communication.
Warmth First
A nervous child doesn't learn. Our teachers build trust before they build vocabulary — every single time.
Culture, Not Just Words
Music, food, holidays, and stories from across the Spanish-speaking world are part of the curriculum, not extras.
Families, Not Customers
We would rather place a child in the right program than fill a seat. Parents get honest guidance, every time.
Our Mission
To give every child the gift of a second language early enough that it feels like their own — and to make the years they spend getting there genuinely joyful.
Our Promise
Come see a class before you commit. If SiW isn't the right fit for your child right now, we'll tell you — and point you toward what is.
